Meditations on Mayhem: Street Photography in NYC During the COVID-19 Era
I regularly bike from lower Manhattan to Upper, shooting as I go. At night when the neon of Pizza joints pool on their emptied linoleum floors and storefronts and streets flattened in their absence of passerby’s, the city seems like a film set replica of itself where the movie’s life and chaos has rapped, and every lone mask wearer is now a quiet visitor.
